Supplementary Sulcus lenses or Sulcus lenses for short, are highly versatile secondary or piggyback lenses that are implanted after cataract surgery of a refractive lens replacement. Sulcus lenses are implanted in front of the primary intraocular lens and behind the iris and pupil and is therefore invisible.

I prefer doing the surgery under local anaesthesia and sedation as patients have already undergone eye surgery and knows what to expect from a procedure that is very similar to their original cataract or lens replacement surgery.
I operate one eye at a time in a private day surgery facility. Recovery is at home.
